Dear Donn,
Your letter of the 4th instant is to hand. I am very glad that you are all quite well by the grace of Almighty. Today I want to tell you something about my first train journey in my life. A few days ago I made a journey by train from Dhaka to Mymensingh. I went to my village home to spend my summer vacation. Earlier I decided to come back Dhaka by train. When my vacation was over, I start for Dhaka. I went to the Mymensingh Railway Station. The station was very crowded Somehow I bought our tickets and got into the train. When the guard waved his green flag, the train started moving. At first the train moved on slowly then it began to run at a full speed. I took my seat beside the window. I kept looking outside through the window. The train was running through the green fields. The charming sights offered a very nice view. I enjoyed the scenic beauty of nature. At last the train reached the Kamlapur Railway Station at 2 pm. We got down from the train, I reached our residence by a taxi. This pleasant and enjoyable journey lasted for a few hours. But the journey gave us immense pleasure.
No more today. I am well.
Yours ever,
Sumon.
